Brad Bird's "Family Dog"

Enough hard-core geekiness for the moment.

We saw Ratatouille on the weekend. I'm not going to do a review. I'm just going to use this as an excuse to post some classic Brad Bird.

Family Dog is an episode of the Stephen Spielberg series Amazing Stories. It's the only episode that was animated.

Written and directed by Brad Bird, design by Tim Burton, music by Danny Elfman and featuring the voice of Stan Freberg (one of my favourite voice-over actors of all time). That should be enough to get you watching, surely?

(By the way, there's a petition to get Family Dog released on DVD. Not saying you should sign it or anything, just FYI.)
